City of Galveston launches new and improved website

Galveston, TX – Nov. 15, 2018 – The City of Galveston on Thursday launched a new and improved website with features designed to make staying informed and engaged simple.

The City of Galveston’s redesigned website went live Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The mobile-friendly website has quick-link buttons and easy-to-access information that will help residents and businesses find the information they need.

“The website redesign was aimed at creating a more transparent and navigable site and I think you’ll find the new meets those goals,” City Manager Brian Maxwell said. “We believe in transparency and keeping the public informed and engaged. The new website allows our residents and businesses to stay connected with ease.”

Paying a water bill, finding information about how to get a permit or learning about what’s new at the City is all simpler with the new design.

We encourage residents to sign up for notifications from the City. You can do this through the Notify Me link on the new website homepage.

For any questions about the new website, please contact the Public Information Office at 409-797-3546.
