  3. City of Galveston / GMPA Holiday Parade

    December 16, 2017, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Historic Downtown Galveston

    'Tis the Season for the annual City of Galveston Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Galveston Municipal Police Association! Come join us on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 6:30 PM to celebrate the Christmas spirit! The parade will begin at 6:30 PM on 25th Street and proceed south to Postoffice, east to 21st Street, north to Strand, and west to 25th Street. The parade will line-up on Santa Fe Place between 25th Street and 28th Street beginning at 5:00 PM. The Downtown Event Area is not anticipated to be closed until approximately 5:00 PM with traffic being detoured to nearby surrouding streets. Immediately following the parade, the Downtown are will be completely reopen to traffic. Please visit http://www.galvestontx.gov/holidayparade if you are interested in registering to be in the parade.
