Public Involvement & Participation

Services

There are many ways to get involved with storm water pollution prevention in Galveston. The city sponsors twice-annual citywide clean ups that allow residents to get rid of unwanted materials and trash rather that throwing them into waterways.

In addition, the city operates a recycling center and bulk trash drop off points that allow residents to recycle and/or properly dispose of household chemicals or other items.
