Expired Offenses
Driver's License
Your citation may be dismissed if you meet the following:
- Renew your license by the due date on your citation.
- Provide your new temporary license and request a dismissal with a $20 administrative fee no later than your due date.
Vehicle Registration
Your citation may be dismissed if you meet the following:
Renew your registration by the due date on your citation.
- Provide a legible receipt of registration that clearly identifies the vehicle in violation and that indicates the penalty fee was assessed.
- Present the receipt noted above with a $20 administrative fee no later than your due date.
Vehicle Inspection
Your citation may be dismissed if you meet the following:
- Your inspection was not expired for longer than 60 days from the citation issue date.
- Renew your inspection by the due date on your citation.
- Provide a legible inspection and emissions report that clearly identifies the inspected vehicle, identifies the vehicle passed inspection, and the payment of the required inspection fee.
- Present the report noted above with a $20 administrative fee no later than your due date.
Failure to Display Driver's License
You may appear on or before your due date, present your Driver's License that was valid on the date and time of your citation and request a dismissal with a $10 administrative fee. No fax or photocopies accepted.
No Proof of Financial Responsibility
You may appear on or before your due date, present proof as required by law for the date and time you were stopped and request a dismissal. No fax or photocopies accepted.
Failure to Change Address on Driver's License
You may appear on or before your due date, present the temporary license with the correct address and request a dismissal with a $20 administrative fee.
Requirements
All administrative fees for dismissal are due at the time proof is submitted. All proof and fees must be submitted in person or via mail. Payment is accepted in the form of cashier's check, money order, cash (in person), or debit/credit card (in person). Once documentation has been received and verified, your request will be presented to the Judge for dismissal.
