A brief description of each product is provided below.
Candidate Preparation Manuals - $5 Includes detailed recommendations on important concepts, such as the most effective test-taking strategies and methods, specific information about CPS HR test forms, and what to expect on the day of the test administration. Also includes several practice questions covering each section of the test, along with helpful tools, like a sample answer sheet and template test instructions for candidates to prepare before the day of the test.
Practice Tests - $15 Simulates full-length versions of CPS HR tests and have been designed to replicate the look and feel of test-day material. Contains practice items across the same sections contained in our test forms. When candidates have completed the online practice exam, they will receive a breakdown of their scores by section. (Candidates will not receive a list of the questions and answers.) In addition, candidates can re-take the exam one additional time at no cost.
Notice to registrants-
Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases, additional safety measures will be in place for the GPD entrance exam. Those preparing to take the Civil service police exam will be required to undergo a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival. This test will be administered by the City’s Fire Department Personnel and typically takes 20 minutes to administer. Those with negative test results will be permitted into the testing area.
Alternatively, attendees may provide proof of a negative test result that has been conducted within 72 hours of the exam tests must have been conducted no sooner than 9 am on 2/2/2022. Results must be negative). Any tests conducted outside of this window will not be accepted. In such cases, the registrants will be required to submit to the rapid test.
If a registrant test positive for COVID-19, the individual will be asked to leave and seek medical assistance. Furthermore, the individual will not be permitted in the testing facility.
Registrants are encouraged to report to the testing facility by 8:00 am to receive test results and go through the check-in process.
While not mandatory, masks are strongly encouraged regardless of vaccination status.
