Consider For Approval A Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Galveston, Texas Approving And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute An Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Between The City Of Galveston And The Wharves Board Of The City Of Galveston, Providing A Termination Date Of Participation In The City’s Self-Funded Health Program; Providing For A Transition Period For The Wharves Board To Obtain Health Benefits For Their Employees; Approving And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute The Agreement; Providing For Findings Of Fact And Providing For An Effective Date. Consider for Approval the purchase of 12 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) along with additional replacement PPE items from NAFECO through Buy Board (contract #603-20) in the amount of $34,741.10. Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Galveston and the City of Austin for a short-term sheltering for Galveston residents evacuated during a mandatory evacuation. Consider for approval the Asset Sale, Geoscience, and Cost Evaluation of Santa Fe Wells proposal from Intera Inc., for a lump sum amount not to exceed $42,060. Authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents upon final approval by the City Attorney. (D. Christodoss)

Consider for approval a proposal from LJA Engineering, Inc., for additional design services for the 5,000 GPD Seawolf Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for a design fee not to exceed $47,810.00. Consider for approval the attached proposal from Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc., to perform the upgrade design for Lift Stations 35, 40 and 47 in conjunction with the Pirates Beach WWTP upgrade for a design fee not to exceed $476,310.00. Consider for approval the ratification of the emergency purchase of an electric motor operating valve from The Scruggs Company in the amount of $15,392.00. (T. Pedraza)

Consider for the approval awarding the contract to purchase three (3) sets of heavy-duty trolley jack stands from the Gomaco Trolley Company, who was the winning bidder on RFP-IRFP-05 for a total of $26,165, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract upon final approval by the City Attorney. Consider for the approval of the inter-local agreement between the City of Galveston and the Galveston County Navigation District (GCND) for access to the Fleet Facilities fueling sites. (D. Smith)

Consider for the approval allowing the Fleet Facility to purchase the listed rolling stock and associated equipment (Heavy Duty 50K Trailer) from Interstate Trailers Inc. through Buy Board for a total price of $30,687, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract upon final approval by the City Attorney. Consider for the approval of the partnership agreement/contract between the City of Galveston and Yaga’s Entertainment Inc. for the organizing, promoting and managing of Mardi Gras 2022 through 2024, following the terms as identified in the contract agreement. The term is for three years, with an option to extend two additional years. (D. Smith)

Consider for action a motion to remove Clyde Wood from the Landmark Commission for failure to attend seventy five percent of the Landmark Commission meetings within a twelve month period as required by Galveston City Code Sec. 2-164.
