Intersection closure on 53rd for waterline project

Beginning tomorrow, there will be an intersection closure on the north side of Broadway at 53rd Street for the installation of a 24-inch water line. The closure will continue for approximately one month.

The closure will mean drivers will not be able to turn north on 53rd from Broadway, however, it will not affect east-west traffic on Broadway. There will be no roadside parking on 53rd Street near the intersection.

The existing bus stop on the northside of the street at 53rd & Broadway will be closed for the duration of this closure and the pick-up location will be moved further West on Broadway between 53rd – 54th Street. There is currently a bus stop sign at this location already.
