Early voting has started for the December 15 runoff election, which has four positions on the Galveston City Council on the ballot, including positions for mayor, District 2, District 3 and District 5.
Early voting started Monday, November 30 and will continue through Friday, December 11. People will be able to vote early over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the Justice Center, 600 59th Street in Galveston. Election Day voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For the runoff election, Roger Quiroga and Craig Brown are running for the mayoral position. William Schuster and Pam Bass are running in District 2; Frank Thomas Maceo and David Collins in District 3; and Beau Rawlins and John Paul Listowski in District 5.
