Ball High homecoming parade returning Wednesday

The Ball High Homecoming Parade is back, and the community is ready to celebrate.

The annual Ball High School Homecoming Parade will take place Wednesday, September 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will follow its usual route, with line-up beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Avenue P between 41st and 45th Street and 43rd Street between Avenue O and Avenue Q.

The floats will proceed on Avenue P east to 39th Street, south to Seawall Blvd, east to 35th Street, north to Avenue O, and westward back to Ball High at 41st & Avenue O. 

The parade could last up to two hours, and GISD Police will escort the parade. Streets will be closed along the parade route and will reopen immediately following the event.
