City hosting paper Shred Day on April 23

The City of Galveston is hosting its annual paper shredding day on Sunday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Galveston Recycling Center, 702 61st Street.  

The Recycling Center will at no charge shred up to 15 boxes of papers and documents safely and securely. All types of paper will be accepting (bond, woven, recycled, parchment, newsprint, card, construction, office, etc.) and staples or binders do not need to be removed. Recyclers may stay and view the shredding of confidential documents.
