City releases information about additional 45th Street closures

45th Street January second

Contractors will have rolling intersection closures on 45th Street from Thursday, January 9, 2020, to Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 7 AM to 5 PM, daily, for the reconstruction and installation of storm sewers.

Ave O ½ and 45th St – West side of Ave O ½ and southbound traffic

Ave Q and 45th St – East side and west side (separately)

Ave Q ½ and 45th St – East side

Ave R and 45th St – Entire intersection

Ave R 1/2 and 45th St – Entire intersection

A friendly reminder, there will be rolling road closures through the end of the month as contractors continue paving 45th Street as part of the reconstruction project underway on that road.

Contractors will have the following partial road closures:

Ave K and 45th Street, West side

Ave M & 45th Street, East side

Ave N ½ & 45th Street, North half

Ave N & 45th Street, East side

Ave O & 45th Street, East side

These are rolling closures along 45th and at some of the intersections. The roads will reopen as paving is complete. Residential parking will be temporarily interrupted only until the concrete cures in front of residents' homes. Some alleyways will also be affected and blocked off with barricades. Trash services will not be affected.

Thank you for your continued patience.
