  1. 46th Annual Dickens on the Strand

    December 6, 2019 - December 8, 2019 @ Historic Downtown Galveston

With a nod to the ghost of Dickens past and an eye towards the future, Galveston’s world famous Victorian holiday festival returns to the downtown area for the 46th year on December 6th through 8th! The annual holiday street festival, based on 19th-century Victorian London, features parades, non-stop entertainment on six stages, strolling carolers, roving musicians, bagpipers, jugglers and a host of other entertainers. Costumed vendors peddle their wares from street stalls and rolling carts laden with holiday food and drink, Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations and gift items. The Dickens on the Strand event area includes Strand and Mechanic (between 25th and 20th Streets) and side streets from Harborside to Mechanic (not including 25th or 20th Street).

For more information, please visit the Dickens on the Strand website!
