Beach User Fee Access Maps

Galveston Island Beach User Fee’s are collected by two entities, the City of Galveston Parks Department and the Galveston Park Board. 

The below Access Points charge a beach user fee of $15 a day and a seasonal pass of $50. Passes can be acquired at any park that is manned by a staffed booth. The pass is a sticker similar to your registration sticker.

•    Access Point 1 (East Beach R.A. Apffel Park)

•    Access Point 2 (Stewart Beach) 

•    Access Point 6 (Pocket Park #1)

Access Point 13/14 (Pocket Park #3). On beach parking will be on a limited basis to reduce overcrowding and will cost $15 per day. Off beach parking in the main lot will be $10 per day. There will be 30 free parking spaces North of the main lot on a first-come, first-served basis.

Access Point 3 (Seawall Beach Urban Park) has an hourly rate of $2 with a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum daily rate of $16. A $45 seasonal pass is also available for purchase. Seasonal passes can be obtained and paid for through the Park Board or at East Beach and Stewart Beach entry booths.
